Volunteer at the Relaxed Screening

Wokingham Film Society is planning another relaxed screening, specially designed for older people and those living with dementia. These screenings create a calm and comfortable environment, with the lights kept low, the volume slightly reduced, and an interval halfway through to make the experience more enjoyable and accessible for everyone. The event will take place at the Whitty Theatre in Luckley School, with doors opening at 1pm for a 1.30pm start. After the film, refreshments will be provided by the Film Society, and the afternoon usually wraps up by 4.30pm.

How you can help at the Relaxed Screening: Volunteers are needed to help with transport, so if you can lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you!
