Communications Officer

Wokingham - £10 hr - Deadline for applications 29th October 2018

Are you a great communicator with excellent written skills? We’re looking to recruit a part-time Communications Officer (two/three days per week), who can promote and support the work we do providing a befriending service for older people. You will be responsible for communicating with our Link Friends, volunteers and stakeholders using a broad range of tool, including social media. Some experience in the communications and/or marketing field would be an advantage.

This is a new post in our small team and the successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to combat loneliness amongst the older generation across the Borough.
