Are you a great communicator with excellent written skills? We’re looking to recruit a part-time Communications Officer (two/three days per week), who can promote and support the work we do providing a befriending service for older people. You will be responsible for communicating with our Link Friends, volunteers and stakeholders using a broad range of tool, including social media. Some experience in the communications and/or marketing field would be an advantage.
This is a new post in our small team and the successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to combat loneliness amongst the older generation across the Borough. We’re full of ideas and have ambitious plans for the future, so if you think you could help us communicate those, please send your cv and a letter explaining why you want this role to the Link Manager, Marjie Walker, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
