Event: Thank You Day

A warm welcome

We’re delighted to invite our community to our Thank You Day, taking place on Thursday 26th February, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at All Saints Church, Wokingham.

This special morning is our chance to celebrate the people who make our work possible, including supporters, volunteers, partners, funders, community colleagues, and anyone interested in learning more about what we do. The event is open to everyone, and we would love to welcome both familiar faces and new friends.

Thanks to the generosity and commitment of our community, we are able to support older people across Wokingham Borough through friendship, connection, and meaningful activities. This event is a small way for us to say a heartfelt thank you and to share the impact of your support.

What to expect

Throughout the morning, our team will be on hand to chat, answer questions, and share stories from across our projects, activities, and events. It’s a relaxed and friendly opportunity to learn more about our work, meet others who care about connection and community, and enjoy time together.

• 11.00am: Past, Present and Future: a presentation from John Mallaghan, Chair of Trustees

• From 11.45am: Light lunch and time to connect
