You could ask for donations instead of gifts for a birthday or anniversary.

  4. Bake-off Style Competition

Pick your bake and judge the best looking (& tasting) results whilst raising money from donations.

And ask for a donation in return.

  9. Cost of Commute or Coffee

For those who are now hybrid working see if they would consider donating the cost of that coffee they would normally grab on their way into the office on the days they are at home. Or even the costs of their daily commute?

  10. Facebook Marketplace

Have a clear-out at home and sell on eBay or Facebook marketplace with the proceeds going towards your fundraising.

  11. Fancy Dress Party

Host a themed party and sell tickets.

  12. Game-a-thon

Who doesn’t love a good excuse to play an online game for a good cause or you could hold a Chess or Scrabble Tournament. Ask for a fee to enter and offer a prize for the winner.

Host a garden party or open your gardens and ask guests to make a donation or charge an entry fee.

  14. Jumble Sale

Organise your own, perhaps as a garage sale or in your village hall.
