One weekend, TWO marathons - meet #TeamLink 2027!
We've got brilliant news to share. For one year only, the TCS London Marathon is becoming a two-day event, and The Link Visiting Scheme was lucky enough to be allocated FIVE Saturday Charity Packages as well as ONE place on Sunday.
We're thrilled to say all six places have now been snapped up!
On Saturday 24 April, Matt, Becky, Kelsey, Paul and Jack will take on the famous 26.2-mile route from Greenwich to Westminster, and on Sunday 25 April, Georgia will do the same - together tackling a record 100,000-runner, once-in-a-generation weekend for #TeamLink.
A huge year for the ballot
More than 1.3 million people entered the ballot this year, so competition for a place was fiercer than ever. That makes us even prouder of our six runners, who'll be lacing up on behalf of The Link - and every mile they run will help reduce loneliness and social isolation for older people in our community.

What #TeamLink are taking on
Charity places come with an entry fee of £100 (non-refundable) and a minimum sponsorship target of £2,000 each. To help them get there, our runners will have:
Dedicated support from our friendly fundraising team
A personalised Link Visiting Scheme running vest with their name
A Q&A with a qualified physiotherapist to help look after those legs and feet!
Access to a variety of fundraising ideas, materials and resources

Laura ran the TCS London Marathon and smashed her fundraising target, with our wonderful community spurring her on with countless messages and donations.
